thanks for clarifying, I got confused...
Do you value 25K AA at $99? It’s pretty much the same seat.... just a little bigger...

I don't believe UR books Spirit, Frontier or Allegient. Unsure about Southwest.

Flight numbers aren't the best option here. But LM is the best.

Start with what's the cash price of the ticket you're looking at. Then compare value of that with what airlines have award space available, and the mileage requirements, to see which way you're getting best deal.

Looking for a sweet spot here... I've never even flown to Asia so I'm starting with nothing.

Trying to piece together what's essentially a RTW with multi-day stopovers in Europe and Asia. I have flexibility with my airports, but not a ton due to scheduling. Ideally, I'd fly NYC-KBP-HRB-NYC (with whatever stops are required), but I'm looking for an award sweet spot. In all likelihood I'll need to book Asian hub-HRB separately.

I pieced together EWR-TXL-WAW-KBP-IST-PEK-JFK on UA for 215k in various J products (and PEK-HRB on cheap rev), but I wonder if there's a better way of doing it.

ANA is pretty great at 180k for J NYC-NRT-FRA-NRT-JFK with separate flights to KBP and PEK, but a. the westbound timing doesn't work, and b. all those separate flights aren't exactly great.

In short, any unique way of booking US-EU-Asia-US? Or a better option than UA for *a (other than LM, not gonna trust them with this itin)? I'll be buying whatever points I need for this FWIW.

If my planned itinerary is SAN to Italy(rome or florence) May 4 and then Italy to tlv May 15 and then tlv back to SAN on May 24:
is best way to search for revenue ticket through multi city (3 legs)? Or are there better options?
