Between Chase ultimate rewards and United Milage plus NYC-VIE which one is a better option to book from?

And if United does not give me an option of a direct flight for the days I’m looking for, is there a way to book a direct flight through milage plus?

And if booking through chase,
1. Through Austrian they only give me one option an it says might be fees on everything… how is it in fact?
2. And if I have a United Quest card and I pay anything on the booking let’s say one luggage or seat selection etc. will I get for the entire booking luggages for all for free?
3. And if I book it through United hey give me a few economy options is it worth it to take the second option which comes out $150 per ticket and it includes seat selection and luggage etc.. or since I have a United quest card and back to my second question should I book the cheaper option and if I make any purchase on that card for this booking for anything small let’s a say seat selection or luggage will I get for free for all passengers on my booking?

looking to go to ANC from NYC then back from YVR in August. From what I've read, the best option would be to use Lifemiles or Turkish miles on United/AC. Any thoughts or tips?

trying to book United flight to ANC from EWR with amex points and from what I can gather, Lifemiles would be the best way to book it? Seems like it's about break even if I use United miles.

Don't know about your dates but I booked with FB last week, they have fares as low as 11.5k ewr-cdg and I paid $160 for infant.

AC

Thanks! Any idea why the AC website is only showing the connecting flights on UA/Copa but not the direct flight on Copa?
