Almost feels like an EY commercial.  I wonder how they comped him.

Dan should do that. Then he can have blog posts for years to come as well. I'll offer my video services (no, i am not a videographer).

What should the taxes be for LHR-AUH-SYD in J using AA mileage?

Thinking about TLV-AMM-AUH-SYD on EY in F. I'll be travelling with wife, 4 year old and infant.

a) Since EY only opens up two seats in F beforehand, does it make the most sense to book a third seat in F on a different date and then hope that one of the two dates eventually has three seats on it altogether (and that AA won't reprice this change according to the new chart)?

b) Since it's only another 60k AA, does it make the most sense to just get another seat for the infant instead of 10% of full fare, or is there another option I'm missing?

If you have plenty of AA miles, just get a seat.

Bump on the first question.
