Yes. Has to be AA metal. Same reason both United and AA list countries in regions to which neither they nor their partners fly.

And why is that? To give the appearance of a larger network?

And has anyone ever been successful in securing one of of the fabled JFK-BRU round-trip award flights? In coach or business?

Haven't seen a single availibility in I. Their call center in the USA is about as dysfunctional as they get.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Same here. I'm honestly not even sure that the miles listed on the chart are for round-trip travel, but that concern appears to be moot anyway.

Whoops. I didn't mean to write year. Edited. Someone said that the call agent manually requested space on a flight (that he saw X space on) and came back with business space (but no economy). He didn't even put it on hold, though ( ), so could be phone rep was mistaken.

I can't even find coach availability. Do you search using United or Expertflyer?

Is there any way to search for all days that have award availability on Brussels Airlines, or do I need to search day-by-day?

A) Etihad availability seemingly has zero connection to availability displayed to partners (which is logical, in a way, being as they're not a partner).
B) Being as it has nothing to do with partner availability, business does exist, even though there's nothing in I class.
I tried to press the agents to tell me what class the availability was in, but they didn't know.
C) They refused to put awards on hold.
D) They claimed to be unable to book BRU-TLV (or any SN flight with a four digit flight number).
E) The agent I spoke to was willing to book a mixed cabin redemption. It sounded like the system didn't give them costs; they had to manually input what to charge you.

So then is the only way to check availability by calling in?

They have an "F" lounge now. It's just not "the" F lounge.

True. THough that one doesn't require a F boarding pass at all, as I've heard that even the the roped-off F area is regularly breached by J pax.
