On the phone last night with EY regarding upcoming A380 Apt. booking, the phone agent was at once clearly engaged with the product and at the same time, clueless:
1) on the return flight, my wife is in seat 2H. He proactively encouraged me to take 3K over 1H (which adjoins 2H) because he had determined that its better to avoid the galley and lavatory hubub and noise over being in adjoining seats and we can always dine together. On the outbound we have 3K and 4K, so I'd actually like to compare the differences between the aisle and window adjoining seat lay-outs).
2) When I asked him to see about requesting kosher wine service, he got carried away about how its not necessary to request kosher meals, not as a prior QR agent suggested, due to the high Halal standards, but because the on-board chef in F can fully customize a meal to my kosher needs. I imagine that they must be trained in how to properly bless the food
