Nothing else in the area?

As in what? Their are no restaurants. No takeout. On tuesdays in the winter the Chabad of Rancho Mirage has a BBQ event. But besides for that only kosher food is in grocery stores unless you bring your own

Ralph's has challah from schwartz bakery from LA.

You will find in the kosher aisle. The usual. Borsht. Kedem grape juice. Kedem Gefilte fish in a jar. Some chocolate. Osem soup mix. Every supermarket has kosher wine.

Last year I found in the freezer A&B gefilte fish. Empire chicken. Frozen pizza. A few meal mart TV dinners

Yup . Forgot about that.

A few years back I went very close to purim. They had already out all the passover items. E.g. chocolate covered matzo and macaroons etc. A old lady walks by and asked me "did I miss passover yet" I said no mam they are early.

What about kosher food in palm springs or hot springs? whats the way to do it or where?
Costco has Chalav Yisroel cheese, and some pre-cooked dishes (I believe Meal-Mart). Pavillions (Rancho Mirage) has a large Kosher selection, including baked goods. Albertsons also has a nice selection. Trader Joes, as mentioned, has a nice selection which includes meat products. And, as Dan mentioned, there's now http://kosherinpalmsprings.com.

Just a note, I found that the Ralph's at 1733 E Palm Canyon Dr to have all the main kosher food there. Small fridge section, small freezer section, and small regular section. They also have bread bought up from Schwartz bakery and other cookies and cake items there.

Yes there are other grocery stores that have kosher food sections but I found this store to have everything (for palm springs everything) and not have to go to another store or two.

ETA: Anyone interested in updating the wiki with the recent food talk?

Don't know if you found an answer yet but Westin Mission Hills is a great place and you'll also probably see some frum people there. Don't know about Le Parker Meridian.
