what happens when you make up a ssn, does your card not get activated, or is the problem later on (fr etc)

When did you do this? Did you get the card. I made up a fake ssn a couple years ago and got a call from amex cuz they said it didn't match some Record or other. Chances are you'll get a call also. I just said I didn't have the social with me and I'd call back with it. I just let it drop.

happened about a week ago, after i got the card i activated on the automated phone, when I tried to activate another card I got connected to rep and she activated 2nd, she didn't say anything, card is working fine

wasn't really worried until the comments after my post, (was actually wondering for the future if it's an option)

Ive seen people add the SSN's as 000-00-0000 online & it works.
Now im not doing it, I am not a fan of adding ssn's if you read my posts from today but yeah.. Its doable

is there a safe number of AU that ppl try to stay under? kind of like with your taxes, your accountant can say, stay under this number to avoid raising red flags (even if you have the documentation to prove u r right, its not worth the hassle).

Human eyes is the key here. This means that if a charge gets blocked & a rep looks into ur acct. even 30 users may be fishy. There isnt anything specific that makes it "straw that broke the camels back"

+1 when my wife was fr'ed they even asked about cards with about 10 aus
