Yes, as long as you know what to look for before you come. Check out Google Earth (see my screenshot) beforehand and you'll see it's quite clear. Remember though that you'll have to find the trailhead in the dark.

So from the google earth pic it looks like the The Pa Ka Oao trail will lead me to WhiteHill, is that correct?

Now that I've written a 10-part trip report, it's only fitting that I pay tribute to the giants who came before me. So in honor of the great inventor of splitting a TR into a Million Mediocre Sections, I present the final piece of my saga:

Conclusion and Blog GiveawayTM:

<Template 186>

My wife and I used our points and miles to plan a trip to Maui! We also used a price mistake!

We had heard that Maui rivals the beauty and splendor of Staten Island, so we planned a trip to decide for ourselves!

We went to Maui and also to Lanai! Using our points and miles made it even better!

Maui is very pretty!

Maui and Lanai Trip Report Index:

The highlight of our trip to Maui was seeing and doing all the things! Also Lanai!

We went to the beach. It was nice. The water was warm, but not warmer than you would expect. Also not colder than you would expect. There were lots of rocks.

The beach was nice! There were lots of rocks.

We also saw the sunrise from the top of a mountain. It was nice. It was also cold. There were lots of rocks.

Sunrise was nice! There were lots of rocks.

When we fly to Maui, we make sure to use our Companion Pass! That way dead fish could fly for free! (~$10 tax & fees).

The fish came to the beach for free using our Companion Pass! There were lots of rocks.

Now to the fun part - let's give away some rocks!!!

Rock 1:
  • A piece of coral from La Perouse Bay!

Rock 2:
  • A smaller piece of coral from La Perouse Bay!

LOL Too funny. You also have too much time on your hands. Also, you left out the "3" in "Step 3" towards the end of the post. (You're also a meanie for making this. :-X)

Nope, went incognito. Didn't want to be recognized and given preferential treatment.

you left out the "3" in "Step 3" towards the end of the post.

Thanks, fixed.

I ghost write for Emily.
