El Al Wildcat Strike November 17 2014

El Al Pilots have announced a Wildcat Strike. Flights to New York Area are currently showing severe delays. JFK and Newark flights averaging delay of 12 hours.

This could be a protest to the ICAA's decision to order El Al to ground all pilots over 65 years of age or El Al might not have the pilots on hand now due to the new law. It is very fuzzy right now.

It was reported that the El Al Pilots committee blamed El Al for the decision.

Evrey few days either the airport goes on strike, or the hospitals or the post offices.

This literally just happened. Right now the flights are showing delayed. Flight 001 to JFK is showing 11:30 AM and Flight 027 is showing 12:45 PM

LY 001 and LY 027. The 9:40 AM from Tel Aviv is currently showing on time.

However, all this is subject to change by the second.

The 6:45 PM tonight from JFK is showing an irregularity. I would definitely call El Al in regards. The 11:50 PM is currently showing on time.
