First of all I stand corrected he was druze second of all you missed the point I know they are different but to most of us it makes no difference which one
When a guy sacrifices his life to save (most probably) many more Jewish lives, it should make a difference.
Don't get me wrong, we have to acknowledge the open nissim we see in these cases where "only a druze" was killed, instead of, God forbid, (another) one of ours.
Nevertheless, it's insensitive to just confuse them with our enemies, especially since many of them risk and occasionally sacrifice their lives for the protection of Jewish people.
