First of all I stand corrected he was druze second of all you missed the point I know they are different but to most of us it makes no difference which one
When a guy sacrifices his life to save (most probably) many more Jewish lives, it should make a difference.
Don't get me wrong, we have to acknowledge the open nissim we see in these cases where "only a druze" was killed, instead of, God forbid, (another) one of ours.
Nevertheless, it's insensitive to just confuse them with our enemies, especially since many of them risk and occasionally sacrifice their lives for the protection of Jewish people.

I actually don't know - I think she teaches at a few seminaries. I got the email as a forward.

I'm a little confused. Is it her son in law who's injured?

thanks for this...unfortunately, and understandably, I just think it really hasn't processed for him yet. I hope he stays this strong.

I haven't had the guts to look at the graphic pictures, the regular ones were a bit much for me but I didn't have any issues listening to this.  Thanks for sharing.

Does he share very graphic details? Am I going to be able to sleep if I listen to it?

I didn't think it was too graphic.  There was one place where he mentions one small thing in passing but it was basically all hashagacha pratis.
I watched the hatzala responder in English Yesterday and that was much worse.
ETA:  He mentions that he himself was able to sleep last night.
