What do you do for Gluten Free while traveling
« on: November 23, 2014, 03:59:28 PM »
I find it most difficult to find gluten free food options while traveling.
Traveling light is also a priority of mine, due to 1-2 days business travel.

There are tons of gluten free options available at many supermarkets. Most items are kosher.
Anything specifically you're looking for?

Like actual food, snacks are available in abundance..
I don't particularly like traveling for 2 days eating some crackers, nuts, fruits etc.
Just looking for some helpful input.

Bread you can take with you. You can buy veggie burgers etc and have them heated up?
I like taking packets of cooked beans.

I find most GF bread to:
1) not hold very well not frozen
2) not taste very good "raw" aka not toasted

Travelling with frozen food: Not as practical for quick trips when trying to avoid extra time at TSA.
