I am supposed to leave tomorrow night on ElAl. My passport expires in Feb 2015. Plan on going to NYC Hudson St office early tomorrow morning. Anything I need to know-bring money, picture, old passport and forms? I'm having trouble breathing. Thanks.

I would say bring everything. Old passport, picture, money, etc. would rather be over prepared then under prepared

Goodness. Hope everything will work out. I think on Hudson street there are very long waiting lines (2+ houes), rather go to an agent.

Not an issue on EL AL or entering Israel

They will let you fly with a passport that doesn't have 6 months

You can call them to verify in the AM, but as of last year was not an issue for my daughter

I flew to Israel last year and I only had 2 weeks left on passport. Only got questioned in IL and i said I'm leaving a week before it expires

Sounds like you are a bit nervous. Go to Hudson St with everything, make sure you have your itinerary. Show up early before they open as lines tend to form. I have had customers be out in an hour.

Sounds like you will be most relaxed if you have the renewed passport.

Six to eleven.

Tried uber to the airport. Disaster. Couldn't find me. Couldn't process my payment. Couldn't locate JFK. Had to verify email 12 times. Gonna delete that app.

That's a long time... I can feel how tired you are. In the future would you rather go to an agent?

Only if I couldn't go myself. I could see problems coming up that an expediter couldn't cover and would require another trip. I have also been told that expediters take a long time to actually deliver the passports. Don't know why. I went home with the passport in my pocket.

And if you are ever in this situation, bring your social security card too. Read that if there is some inability to verify the SSN, the card is a must.

i am need of a passport renewal and new passport for kids within the next week and a half(take into account legal holidays). anyone familiar with expediters? and what should be the fee?

p.s. i cant go down. i can't miss work so that is not an option for me
