Same as chops. Not chez Benny. Which is now called Benny&fils. Also, not sure what you mean by far less popular. Chops is arguably the best most consistent upscale restaurant in Montreal and Umai Soo She is definitely the best sushi around. I may possibly be slightly biased. Full disclosure 😉
Same hechsher as chez Benny VSL

There are a lot of people I know that don't use KSR

Palestinians ≠ Hamas

Same as Chops and Chez Benny?

I think there are 2 Benny's these days.  One is still MK and one is KSR.  Chops is KSR.

Many people will use KSR for Dairy/Sushi but not necessarily for meat.  I am heading there shortly and was hoping to try the new Thai place but that seems to have closed down last week. I think there is only one high end meat place under the MK at this point.

The locals love the babka, but I don't think it's better than what you can find in NYC.
The cheese pastries and cheesecake OTOH are something unique.

Anyone know how easy it would be to get an UberXL to YUL at 530 am? It’s not showing available to reserve in advance.
Or better off with a car service?

..
Not sure how it works but I would assume the reason they don't let you reserve in advance is because there are two few options
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

I can reserve Uber premier and comfort in advance, just not XL.
So not sure how it has to do with options rather than them not wanting to guarantee anything

That is what I meant they won't let you reserve because their data shows the options will be limited, in other words you will face the same challenge booking in the spot, unless you have luck

Is there any decent shawarma in Montreal.  By decent, the standard I'm going by is Dr. Laffa in Toronto one of the best in North America. Thanks

Flying to Canada doesn't require a passport for kids under 16, however returning to the US by air requires a passport for all passengers. Anyone know what the risks are if I show up to the return flight without passports for kids, just with their birth certificates, will they do an ID lookup and let us through or can they actually deny us boarding?
