Anyone ever stay in the Intercontinental Montreal? IS it a nice place? What is the best way to get upgraded? Any particular kind of room I should ask for?

What is fun to do in Montreal in early November? This is for a couple with no kids coming along.

We plan on eating out a lot, and thanks to Dan's TR, we  have that all planned out! Looking for activities to do in between restaurants!

Tremblant is beautiful in the summer, but everything there is overpriced. Never been in the winter but I hear the skiing is good. The shluchim are great and the chabad house is nice, you can order food through chabad but if your driving up from NY you might as well stop in Montreal and pick up food yourself.

With the weaker Canadian dollar it makes everything more affordable there.
