Stayed at the Quality Inn last year.  Overall decent experience- older but moderately clean rooms.  Kosher breakfast is a plus though. Walking distance to Chabad and other shuls.

Thats really good. I enjoyed the smoked meat at Ernie and Ellie's, Chops  was good, but had NYC prices, Cheskies is a very good bakery. For takeout - enjoyed La Marguerite.  You pretty much need a car to get to any of these places.
