Thanks. My French is only passable, but my Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese are much better. I haven't spoken French in a long time.

Besides Yakimono which we plan on going to for dinner, what is a good lunch place? We were thinking of exploring Old Montreal so any places near there that has a sukkah would be best.

What about a takeout place for dinner the next night?

Pizza pita has a huge takeout menu in the drive through - i think only kosher drive through in north america. Though for pizza itself I like gourmetti better.

Nice, but that could be problematic if there's no sukkah. Now drive though sukkah would be impossible but appreciated. Presumably Gourmetti will have a sukkah?

I don't think there's anything Kosher in the Old Montreal area.

Yes I believe there's a Chabad House in Old Montreal. Should have a Sukkah.

Thanks guys for your help. Based on this info it sounds like if makes sense to stay in Westmount and not by the airport, right?

It's a Marriott Cat 3. Looks decent online, nothing fancy. Thanks again for your help.

I did mean the food, but that's good to know about the sukkah.

Thanks. I get nervous if the menu is too big. A small menu usually means the restaurant is confident it can do a few things excellently. A large menu often means that many items on it may be mediocre or just not available.

Same here, learnt that from Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine.

How accurate is this map? http://www.jewishinmontreal.com/montreal-kosher-restaurants.php

What about their shul map (obviously just the Orthodox ones)? http://www.jewishinmontreal.com/montreal-synagogue-directory.php

Apparently there's a Chabad of Westmount that's just 800m (just under .5 miles) away from the Residence Inn. Their schedule says they have a minyan during Chol Hamoed at 7:30a. This can work out nicely.

Does chabad chol hamoed davening take longer than nusach ashkenaz? Anything extra besides hallel, leining, and hoshanos?

Map is not too accurate. Yakimono is way off, it the other way down decarie from chabad area. They are missing sprinkz, and pizza gourmetti moved location.
