Take out battery and plugs and let it dry out for 2-3 days before turning back on.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

if it was really just a few drops on a laptop no there is nothing to be worried about except the keys might get a little sticky. there's a plastic piece that all the keys attach to that protects the core of the laptop. as Dan said let it dry out although i believe that a day is more than enough.

Raw rice is absorbs moisture. Don't know if its really doable on a laptop, but you can put it in a bag with a bunch of uncooked rice

I don't know what company your laptop is, but in hp laptops there are some screws under the battery, they are to the keyboard and if you remove them it should be very easy to see if its dry. There is a ribbon wire connecting it to the motherboard, you will have to disconnect that. You might want to check youtube for a video.

For any electronics.

Remove the battery and put it in a Tupperware filled with rice.
