Will this work for the Sero 500 plan?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Are you being sarcastic?
I'm surprised this didn't gain more traction; its a pretty big deal. Maybe the title is kinda lame...(no offense:(

I acutely did it I leased  the iPhone 6 for $5 a month, also added a line for free, but the catch is you must  buy a  phone from sprint, you cant bring an old phone over to them. Also activation fees Etc.... but there are ways with enough HUCA to get them waived.

I wanted to upgrade to an iPhone 6, but I was told that it's only for accounts eligible for a phone upgrade, so there you go..

Got text message today from Sprint that my plan is ineligible for the free upgrade. Any cheap plans with unlimited min for sprint for a dumb phone? no data needed. Something I can switch to while still in contract?

I have SERO 500 and pay $50 a month so that I can have new phones (have the Galaxy S4 - upgrading soon). I have 500 minutes but with the $50 plan (and I think also the $40 plan) you get free minutes to any mobile so the 500 minutes are only used from 7 AM to 6PM when calling landlines.

I signed up for this today and didn't get any text saying that it worked or didn't work.

I think there is a $10 upgraded plan for unlimited mobile to mobile. If your works let us know. If I could upgrade for 10 and thereby by eligible for the unlimited minutes promo, I would do it. (At least till my contract expires ;D0

Correct. The basic Sprint SERO is $30. And upgrade to $40 gives free anymobile and upgrade to $50 allows any phone.
Did you get the test denying you immediately?I won't know for sure that it worked until it's reflected in the next billing cycle.

Good luck with that. The plan you have is not something they offer anymore. They wanna get rid of it.

Is there any other plan I can get with a dumb phone for under $50? I don't need any data at all.
