Buying on Amazon
« on: November 30, 2014, 06:54:28 AM »
I tried ordering this product (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006588N5U/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AL5GMH7DJO3L5), where it says "This item ships internationally". But when I come to checkout I get the message:  "Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address. Learn more. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order."

Does anyone have experience with such problem?

How do you get advanced refunds ? When I returned I only got the refund after I sent it back.

Depends what it's for.  (The $30 Subscribe and Save one can be used on one item for however many months it lasts.)

Yes.
You have up until 45 days (30 days to ship, another 15 for them to receive it).

Go back to the email when they told you about the credit.  Read the terms.

Not sure where to ask this... but here goes:

Someone bought me a mixer as a present, but not a standard brand (it's cheaper, I assume it was about $100). The problem is that it doesn't work so great. (The bread attachment doesn't work at all, and the batter attachment doesn't mix very well.)

They bought it on Amazon. My question is if there's any way for me to get refunded somehow, so that I can use the money towards another mixer. I don't want to ask the person who bought it to get involved. I'm assuming that if I just contact the manufacturer, best case they will offer me a new mixer (which will probably not work any better).

Is there anything I can do (besides cut my losses and move on)?

TIA

I know this is an old question, but anyways I came to post about the new return policy feature for gifts.
