Not sure where to ask this... but here goes:
Someone bought me a mixer as a present, but not a standard brand (it's cheaper, I assume it was about $100). The problem is that it doesn't work so great. (The bread attachment doesn't work at all, and the batter attachment doesn't mix very well.)
They bought it on Amazon. My question is if there's any way for me to get refunded somehow, so that I can use the money towards another mixer. I don't want to ask the person who bought it to get involved. I'm assuming that if I just contact the manufacturer, best case they will offer me a new mixer (which will probably not work any better).
Is there anything I can do (besides cut my losses and move on)?
TIA
