The best way to find a comfortable chair is probably to go to staples or another store and sit on a bunch, to see what you like.

It happens to be that they make more comfortable, cheaper office chairs than they do dining room chairs. And frum people do lots of sitting in the dining room.

Exactly ...I live in an apartment were space is limited thereby making my dining room table my office.

Metrex Mesh chair from costco is my pick. Comfortable, supportive and sturdy. Leans back nicely without being too loose or can be locked in place. It swivels and arm rest height is adjustable and swings back for easy entry/exit. I find mesh more comfortable than traditional padding since theres nothing hard underneath. Costco charges $110 online but in store I've seen it on sale for as low as $70.
