I'm looking to send some invitations via email, I created that account around the week ago and plan on sending a hundred at a time.

Don't want to waste my time adding 100 emails and then click send and says error.
As it might assume it's spam or for whatever other reason it might not go through.

Also not sure if it would bounce back for an email which is incorrect?

Is there any better way of sending bulk / mass amount of emails or is BCC my best alternative versus sending a single email to each person?
can I assume if I don't get a reply or a bounce back that everyone received the email?

Any other ideas that you have done in the past?

 I'm using a Gmail account.

Thanks

If you have all their info in a spreadsheet you can do a mail merge. Download YAMM.

Be aware gmail has limits I think its 500 daily quota and I don't remember how many emails can be sent per second, but you can send 50 at a time and wait a minute or 30 seconds and send the next batch, if you're sending personalized emails IE dear MYI its better to use single email per invitation not to be marked as spam, otherwise use bcc and send to 50 at a time, if any of those emails aren't active you'll get a bounce back for that specific email the rest will continue sending, if you're using bcc put something in the to: and that email will be seen by all recipients

I love mailchimp but does it increase your chances of landing in someone's promotions tab or spam?

A big benefit of mailchimp is being able to see exactly who opened your email, how many times they opened it, and if they clicked through any of your links.

ETA: @JMHO just saw the post that you made while I was typing this one.

Just btw there is lots of others (non marketing specific) that allow that.

Problem is it's on a paper, so for that price will just put it in the email directly.

Where'd you get 50 from?

Can try that, but will need to upload all my emails somewhere, not quite sure the best place to store all my emails for my Simcha. Don't need them on my Gmail account.

That's my only deterrent, don't want this to end up in spam. Or promotions.

I have experience when sending mass emails from Gmail, many end up in Spam.
Use an email sending service such as MailChimp...

Though as @MeirS said, that can also happen in gmail. At least with mailchimp you can go through the list a few days after sending it and see who didn't open it. Then maybe follow up. With gmail you'll never know where it went and if it was seen.

Though mailchimp does look and feel less personal than gmail, even if gmail would be a bcc...
