Friend reset the passcode on her Samsung s20 fe, then forgot it. Is there any way to either reset it/bypass it or back up the data before doing a factory reset? Samsung find my mobile didn't work for her

Other than trial and error for the passcode, I am not aware of any method to back up the data before doing a factory reset unless your friend’s phone is rooted and running custom ROM.

Is there a way, that's not too complicated, to run apple apps on android? My smart lights only have an iOS app?

Lights are discontinued. They used to have an Android app as well but now only the IOS one is up. There's a remote but it doesn't really work (and doesn't have all the features of the app)

I have a Samsung phone. I was using their gallery to sort my pictures into different albums. When I connected my phone to my computer to back it up they are all together in one folder. Do I need to sort through all of my pictures again or is there a way to back up each album to its own folder? how should I organize it on my phone in the future? Also, is there a way to check that pictures in google photos are actually on my phone?
Thanks

I would manually copy each folder one at a time to get the photos in their own album. Vs a universal backup with everything.

Apps take up alot of space, music, and system apps that are needed for phone to function.
One option is to split one drive storage with someone.

Or get an SD card.

Or bigger phone with more storage.

Erase some unwanted or unused apps.

In the storage section of the phonenit should have a breakdown to show you what's taking up space.
Clear cookies and cache every so often.

It gives the options to clear data and cache. What's the difference between them?

Cache is temp data and data is your actual data. In WhatsApp for example cache can be profile pictures or things it saves to make loading faster, while the data will be all your chats, pictures and videos etc.

So I shouldn't erase WhatsApp's cache and data. I'm assuming a lot of the "other is WhatsApp". Any way to check?

Yes whatsapp is a big chunk of your memory.
You can erase cache. I wouldn't erase the data unless you don't care about your pictures and messages.
What you could do is turn off auto download for the pictures in the videos. That way you only download what you want.

Under which app do you see that?
General rule of the thumb If there's some funny files that you're not sure of. And it's associated with data you want for example whatsapp images. Don't erase anything. As well chances are they don't take up much space to begin with.

Any techie guys here?! I hope this is the right place to post this.

I installed Avast Mobile Security on my Android to run a scan. As it was finishing up installing, I noticed a pop up saying "this app is required by your device administrator and cannot be uninstalled". A few days later I tried to uninstall and sure enough it will not uninstall! Tried endlessly, both from the Google Play Store as well as from the device itself. It says the message quoted above. Thing is; this is my own device with no admin on it! I even checked the apps with admin permissions, only one app is listed (Google Find my Phone) and not this one. I tried to force stop the app and then uninstall, cleared cache, nothing helped so far. Can anyone help?!
