Any techie guys here?! I hope this is the right place to post this.

I installed Avast Mobile Security on my Android to run a scan. As it was finishing up installing, I noticed a pop up saying "this app is required by your device administrator and cannot be uninstalled". A few days later I tried to uninstall and sure enough it will not uninstall! Tried endlessly, both from the Google Play Store as well as from the device itself. It says the message quoted above. Thing is; this is my own device with no admin on it! I even checked the apps with admin permissions, only one app is listed (Google Find my Phone) and not this one. I tried to force stop the app and then uninstall, cleared cache, nothing helped so far. Can anyone help?!

Do you have a filter installed?

No (though I used to have Gentech but I don't think it should affect it as it was uninstalled awhile before Avast was installed)

Try this:
Go to System Settings on an Android device, select Security-> Device Administrators -> Uncheck the permission for the application.

I have this issue, that whenever I receive calls from specific people, they can’t hear me (I hear them) unless I call them.
I currently call them right back, and everything is clear.
Is there a better option? Why does it happen?
It happens when ppl call me from an iPhone, some Figs (not all) and some android based smart phones.
I have the Kyocera e4810.

so basically ALL phones. Seems like it has something to do with your phone having some type of glitch. I'm sure you tried this already, but powering on and off your phone usually can help...

It’s not ALL phones.
Only specific iPhones.
I don’t have this issue with any other flip phone calling me.

Ok. Before it sounded like the issue was with many phones. Now it seems its only with one person's phone. Good Luck!

@Jojo202 This slipped by me.... As mentioned above; I have tried this already. There is no other app with administrator permissions other than "Find my device" and even that one is unchecked (so not active now). Can anyone help with this?!
