Phone model? Which app?
Galaxy S7.  Memo that comes with the phone.

Been a while since I used a Galaxy S7, I don't believe S memos has a trash, you can try a recovery app.
I would guess that if I understand you correctly and it's not the full memo rather just part of a memo that got deleted, it will be very difficult to recover.

::) :-[ After spending too much time with unknowledgable CSRs at Samsung (they were nice, but had to look up what to do with each question of mine) in addition to all my research time, I...figured out what to do by mistake.  TYH.

At one point my finger rested too long in one place (ie, the move for "paste") and lo and behold...it's all back!!!  :D   I must have "cut" the highlighted info by mistake to begin with (I wouldn't know how to repeat that) and then I also "pasted" it back by mistake.

The reason I am writing this in detail is to give all of you techies a real life experience of simple solutions to try with an ice pick before jackhammering it.

I don't know how highlighted material is cut out without pressing on 'cut', but I don't think that is an S7 issue.  What we learn is the moment material is missing, first try longpress to "paste" just in case it was "cut".  That also is not an S7 unique feature.  Thanks for your support.

The most important thing when trying to fix a problem is getting accurate and plentiful information of what happened. My understanding of your original post was that your memo got deleted, therefore I responded as such.

Certain things shouldn't have to be repeated, it's common knowledge to restart a device before even asking and I assume it's common knowledge that C&P exists. Things don't get "cut" on their own afaik.

Looking for a new phone most recently had the S7 which served me well however is beyond repair at this point.

I am considering the Samsung Galaxy A02s for $99 from Newegg.

Question is if  it is unlocked does that mean it will work on Verizon?

Or if you have any other "cheap" phone recommendations feel free to chime in

See link for details https://www.newegg.com/samsung-galaxy-6-5-4g-lte-black/p/N82E16875168045?Item=N82E16875168045

Unlocked doesn't seem to mean also Verizon, since the Verizon one costs more than the unlocked as seen here https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/phones/galaxy-a/galaxy-a02s-t-mobile-sm-a025uzkatmb/

For cheap phones I love the Moto lineup, there is a phone for every price point, and they're generally more powerful than the low-end Samsungs (As an example, compared to the Galaxy A02s it has more RAM.) They also mostly work officially with all the US carriers.

As a starter the Moto G Play 2021 for ab out $160, but if you can up it a little then the Moto G Power 2021 for like $180-200 (depending on storage options.)

I found an S10E open box for $205 - what would you recommend the 64gb moto g power  or the S10E

The Moto has some benefits (including newer Android and better battery) but the S10E is probably a better deal (much more powerful), and especially since you're coming from Samsung world (layout and features are not the same on other Androids.)

I have a document scanning app (tinyscanner) I can't for the life of mine find the files using a file explorer I can only see them in the app.

Is that by design?
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

Don't know if this answers your question,
Do you have hidden files and folders view enabled in your file explorer?

Found the setting and turned it on but still can't find it. The only way for me to attach a scanned document into an email is if I click the app under browse files in other apps

Interesting.
The only other time I remember using such a solution was when a phone had the file explorer blocked by a filter, and the only way to get the files was through exploring in another app.

Google hasn't been helpful?

I have an s10e when some notifications come in it temporarily lowers the volume of the currently playing media. The problem is it doesn't go back to the original level until another notification comes in.
I noticed text messages don't seem to cause it but telegram messages do.
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

In Google photos I added a bunch of photos into albums. Now I want to transfer them to an SD card but I don't see the option to do that. Any advice? ( I don't know if this is relevant but I want to put on SD card bec I got a new phone and want to move it to the new phone)
