Credit still didn't post but that usually takes 2-3 days, I got congrats email in seconds after making a $75 payment

Last night I agreed to sell 10 offers @ $50 each to a fellow DDFer. After payment was processed I realized that the account was a personal fios account and not a business account. I told the DDFer that I would make one test payment to a make sure everything was good and would make the additonal payments once the initial credit posts.

Well the market price has since dropped and the DDFer wants me to refund his money for the additional credits. Any thoughts on how to handle this situation? @Dan @jj1000

A deal is a deal IMHO. Your word isn't worth much if you're willing to renege on a deal.

His argument is that I would have backed out if the credit didnt come through AND he has sellers willing to risk it and put through charges now.

Not if its a clawback like staples, no. Only if it didn't meet the offer terms to begin with.

If he agreed to waiting for the first test to go through, then he agreed to the deal and should follow thru with the agreed price IMHO

So he agreed after I realized the issue but that was only after he made the full payment. Had I pointed out the issue beforehand he may have only paid for 1 offer...

But would you have paid for the subsequent 9 offers at original price once the credit went through even though market price dropped?
