-You can make payments even if your account is paid in full. Max overpay is $2,500.
-No need to exchange login or cc info, you can make payments with just the account number and zip. https://www.verizon.com/expresspay/#/auth
-Verizon will always refund method paid, they won't send you a check unless you already started using that specific payment (I.E. If you have a $5 balance and pay $75 they will send you only $70 as a check. A payment that is completely a credit and doesn't pay any balance will be refund to the CC)

Each offer is 2 swipes, you can use one after the next, although Verizon won't allow the same payment twice so you'll have to make 1 swipe of $75 and 1 swipe of $75.01

Do I need to make another $75 payment or another $5 charge will trigger them credit?
