Oh. My question was if anyone was successful doing a WALK-IN without an appointment....
How far in advance did you make the appointment?

A couple weeks. Though you can usually get dates once you are approved.

I probably won't get an appointment within 3 weeks
Therefor I'llask my question again.
Does anyone have any experience/ success walking in without an appointment to jfk or ewr to get global entry for a newborn baby that the parents already have global entry??

Have you applied already?

I applied and got my letter to schedule a day later. I could have made an appointment the next day if i wanted.

Why do you need to do walk-in?

I haven't applied yet. I'm going to get his passport today and will apply right after I get it.
The reason why I'm asking about a walkin is because from previous experience, after applying for the rest of my family, I haven't been able to get an appointment for at least a month. This is in lax. I am assuming that in the NYC area it would be just as hard to get an appointment as soon as I need it. Unless you are telling me otherwise..

Could be there are times when it can be hard to find a time, but when i looked to book for my kid, i pretty much was able to choose the day and almost always the time i wanted.

Wow! That's surprising.
Thanx for the info! I'll come back and report what happens.

No problem.

You should first apply and then deal with the appointments. Most likely you will not have an issue, but if there is, then you can try and find out more info on walk-ins.

Thats not too bad. My parents are going to do the same thing. They are gonna go for an interview earlier then their scheduled appointment and I told them to bring their scheduled appointment paper to show them. Hope it works for a family as well.

Does my kid need his own proof of address, or is mine good enough ?
