Resort fees will not be waived on the free stays.

Thanks to mahasamatman from FT for the spreadsheet of all the resort fees.

Theres some sweet locations on the list...

Together with spg plat challenge, a bit of mattress running will get some nice free nights pretty cheap.

Anyone with suggestions on cities where you can get "cheap" stays to earn free nights?  Which SPG chain should have the lowest priced rooms?

Does a two room reservation for one night count as two stays (i.e., if I reserved two rooms at one hotel on the same night)?  Similarly, could I reserve a single room at two different hotels on the same night and get credit for two stays? 

The reason I ask is that I may be travelling to a city with cheap SPG properties that aren't avaialble in my area.
