Interesting. Anyone else? What's the explanation why the canceled cards are getting updated before the active cards?

I don't know. I'm sure it's easier to change a closed USAir card into a closed aviator card than it is to change an open one.

Was speaking to a recon rep, she was telling me that I have the aviator card. I guess it changed in there systems.

I was thinking that maybe now that there's no USAir card in my history, it might be easier to recon. Apparently not.

I applied last night (using link from MS), was declined, called recon today with the 24 hr number in wiki. They said the app wasn't even submitted (there was no pull) because I already had this card once and they weren't going to give me the bonus again. When I asked to get the card without the signup bonus they also refused that. :|

I applied with the link tonight, and I got declined. Doesn't seem like my credit was pulled. Would have been my third one, with the second closed about two months ago.
