My miles have been converted to a new AA mileage account. Is it ok for me to merge with existing AA account? I have a AA platinum as well, and would therefore have to different CC feeding into one mileage account. Is that a problem?

might be an idea to keep it separate to get two 10k miles back

I called a while ago to merge my accounts and they said I cant do it yet, do u know if the system is working now and I can merge my miles into one account?

if you have either the citi platinum or Barclays red you get 10% of your miles back up to 10k per year so if you have 2 accounts and 1 card linked to each you may get 20k

yes, but remember you have to pay the annual fee to get the bonus points

Made a costly mistake. I had my wife apply for the US Airways card right before they discontinued applications, she also had a US Airways card from a prior application. I got the statement with the annual fee but didn't realize that it was for the new card, thought it was for the old card. Had my wife call and she had the card downgraded to the Arrival. Now I just realized that I made a mistake as to which card it was. Is there anything I can do at this point to get the 50,000 miles?? Can I undo the change, still never received the Arrival card in the mail. Any recourse?
