I've had my AF waived and the miles posted later no problem. Waiving is like like paid just not by you, IME.

I already paid just waiting for miles to post. IIRC only way to get miles is to pay AF and then ask for refund after miles post

Twitter might be a problem if you paid it already, but it doesn't hurt to give it shot.

They DMd me back that it's waived, and it showed up on the account the next day.

my 50k posted and the statement closed now why don't they show up in my usair account
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

When will USair and AA points merge? Can they be merged now?
Iirc it's gonna be in the 2nd quarter of this year, but it can already be done online.

Hotel & airline miles don't expire when you close the card. USAirways miles will expire after 18 months of no activity.

I sent them a SM asking them to waive the AF & downgrade to arrival. Their reply was:

Dear **********
Thank you for contacting us regarding your US Airways Dividend Miles World MasterCard. We can certainly address your inquiry regarding the annual fee and foreign transaction fee on your account.

In order to provide you the best service possible, please contact us anytime at 866-419-0881.

If you have any other questions and concerns, please reply to this message.

Can HUCA be done through SM?
Not really, only way is via Twitter or phone.

HUCA'd through SM & AF was waived. Afterwards I tweeted them to downgrade to arrival, they called me in less than 5 minutes & said it will be downgraded in 24 hours, which happened the next day.

Now I tried applying for the second US Airways through a refferal that is expiring today. Checked application status and got:

Currently we are unable to offer you a credit card issued by Barclays Bank Delaware. Details on why we could not make you a credit offer will be mailed to you.

I assume there was no hard pull. Am I right?

When should I try again?
