SPG flights

I came across spg flifghts today and it looks good. I'm not sure why I never heard of it. I want to go from ny to tlv on spg flights I can go with united for 125K or elal for 95k. that same flight would cost me 170k regular thru united . am I missing something as this seems like a good deal com pared? should I start using my spg card more then my united card? thanks for the help

I saw the post before I posted but that was from 2008. is it still true am I missing something if I can get elal round trip for 95K points or 125k for united thru spg flights regular united is 170k?

It means you should just pay for the flight...your starpoints are worth more than what they're giving you (if you sold the same amount of points you'd have enough to pay for the flight and spending money to spare)
