I never saw this deal on the forum till today. I just got an email from Spotify with this offer, I immediately subscribed and just got myself 3 months premium for a dollar! Awesome!!!
Btw there's lots of new jewish music on Spotify which is downloadable for free with Premium!

Nope! I just canceled, they clearly state while canceling that the subscription is valid for 3 months and only after that you'll go back to free version.

Premium users need to go online every 30 days, so Spotify can check that your subscription is still active and count track plays to compensate artists. Synced tracks will become unavailable if you do not."

what happens if im premium and dont go online once every 30 days? they cancel it?

so technically if i just want a music player i can download all the songs on one of those cheap prepaid wifi phones and then never turn on wifi again

Yes, the playlists you download while on premium are no longer available without internet if you don't have premium. Meaning, no premium, no *downloaded* songs. But, as long as you have internet connection, you have access to all your playlists which shuffle play for free.
