No one I know uses them, since the local doctors didn't accept them.
I think that Fidelis might be better than the others, as some doctors started accepting them.
If you want a plan that gives you access to a wide range of good providers, you would want Empire.
If you qualify, and are in good health, you might want to go with a catastrophic plan.
Have you ever heard the expression "
you get what you pay for"? That is actually a best case scenario.
The amount of profit the insurers are allowed to make, is highly regulated. They operate in the same markets. Presumably the large ones have more bargaining power. So there must be a reason for the difference in price. It will be with the availability of providers or with your out of pocket expenses.
