Need help with picking airline between NYC and LAX for multiple flights.

I live in NYC my job requires me to work in LA, for the next year i’ll be flying back and forth between NYC and LAX almost every week. I’m estimating about 40 round trips will be made by the end of 2015, any recommendations on what airline should I fly to maximize my benefits and earn elite status? Currently i have United Explorer Card from Chase with about 85,000 miles on it, should i stick to this airline?

I like the AA product in that route better.

Forget Delta. Chose between AA and United.

UA has a great product from JFK nonstop.

Definitely not UA as you won't get CPUs (complimentary upgrades) on the JFK LAX route. 
I would prob do AA because once you hit Executive Platinum, you will get complimentary upgrades.

But the above is based on your employer buying coach tickets.

the 500 mile upgrades on AA is a big plus, i'm getting CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World MasterCard with 50,000 mile sign up bonus and 2 admiral club passes.

Maybe look into the executive card. That will give you unlimited lounge access. That may be better for you if you are traveling often.

AA is great and I have corporate customers that rave about the new A321's that they are now using on their JFK - LAX route.

Why is it a plus? The plus is the you get CPUs or can use 500 miles upgrades on this route as well. (Unlike DL and UA) But in general this is not really a plus.

(Yeah, Gary explains that its a plus, but im talking in general its always better free...)
