I booked on priceline and called to cancel before 11:29 the next day. The outbound was Jet blue and it canceled. The inbound priceline WOULD NOT CANCEL because it was spirit airlines. I called spirit and they also would not unless they took a cancelation fee. . What can I do?

Was it within 24 hours for a flight more than 7 days away? If so, someone needs to cancel it per DOT regulations.

Purchased a ticket last night on Priceline. Do I have until 11:30pm ET Monday or Tuesday to cancel? (I think Xmas is observed Monday)

booked priceline ticket 2 months ago and simcha just came up for when im away. really dont want to eat the loss. is there any way that they would refund it? booked with amex plat. anyone ever have anything similar and it was resolved satisfactorily?

Can't hurt to try Amex.. The Platunum card has many benefits although I don't think this is one of them.. maybe make it sound more dramatic - like an emergency etc and say you thought that they covered that... or maybe you can actually buy trip insurance (perhaps from Amex) at this point that would cover that cancellation? If none of these work, just pray that there is bad weather and it gets cancelled for you..

Perhaps he shouldn't. Insurance fraud can put you behind bars

no intention of doing anything shady. want something on the up and up. If they change timing of my flight can I request refund?

Sometime an airline wants the change to be 60 or more minutes to give a free change. Each airline has its thing.

I believe so. That's was Dan always writes on DDMS on Friday. You can search Priceline on DDMS and you should easily find his write up

Yes, you should. You can check the deadline by clicking cancel. It will tell you until how long you have when asking you to confirm.

Any help what's best to say to delta to cancel tickets? Booked 2 tickets to Zurich and want to cancel both. Missed the Priceline timeframe with no luck pleading my case to them. I suppose Delta is the easier one to deal with now?

True but...
PL told me that they cannot change anything if I am Checked-in. I had to call Delta and ask them to uncheck me (quick 2 min call). Then I had to call back PL. Was unable to do it online
