sapphire to freedom
« on: December 18, 2014, 03:48:39 PM »
hey everyone,
ive seen dan mention several times that he has downgraded his sapphire preferred card into multiple freedom cards. has anyone ever done this? does anyone know any details about this? for example how much do you need to put on each card, what do you tell them is the reason for this, etc.?

There is a thread on this, but just call and ask them to downgrade the card. Pretty simple.

last time i tried
Was your SP open for at least a year? I heard somewhere (sorry don't remember exactly) that's required, otherwise only regular Sapphire is available to downgrade to.

That's why - needs to be a year old.
I just (2 minutes ago) downgraded my 1 year old SP to Freedom, was very simple.
