I think the bottom line is the onus is on jet to prove they can compete not the other way around.

From the posts of SG and you it sounds like jet already proved themselves. (Statements like Amazon stinks because they ban people for too many returns, and a failed shipping service does not prove that jet is better, it shows amazon has flaws and MAYBE jet will be better in some aspects of the business.)

This simply is not the case.

That being said I imagine jet will be barred from ddf soon due to the T&C here.

I agree they will still have to prove themselves, and believe they will do so.
I gave jet feedback before about the customer service and a few other things that could be improved, and they responded explaining how they will be fixing these issues.

Waiving returns is a Jet innovation, and the customer service for this feature hasn't been fine tuned yet. The CS agents were trained to charge for these returns and they didn't anticipate the issues.

Though 2 friends just told me they waived returns on a wrongly shipped item, and got to keep the item valued over $100, and another reported receiving $25 credit.

You guys are both forgetting that there are decent discounts both for buying a few and for adding other things to the cart. Jet is incentivizing customers to think differently when they shop, so even if a price for 1 unit is the same on Amazon you will always have nice savings if you build a cart.

It means you're willing to forgo free returns for a small discount when purchasing.
If you decide to return, they charge what I would call a penalty to do so.

I'm reading and reading I don't see anyone giving a reason why they hate jet...  I Understand Dan,  because he makes money from Amazon,  but at least give a good reason to hate them...

Before I go to the surprise I wanna remind you all, if you wanna save shop jet.com.

I just opened my free huge package from jet, oh man oh man what I got there, 5 jet T-shirts, 2 pairs of jet socks, a jet cap, a jet game, a jet water bottle thermos, 5 sheets of jet stickers, 10 jet invite cards, wow wow wow!!!

Their PR group are definitely doing an amazing job!!!!!
