Just trying to find a good deal of this so called awesome site. The only thing they have going is a free membership for ordering something that would cost me hundreds more. What do they think I am, stupid?  :)
They are right!

How? That's just the way it is, Amazon Mom get 20% off without 5.
And pampers outsells Luvs by a 100-1 margin.  Not sure why that makes me ridiculous?

Saying Jet is cheaper than Amazon for detergent isn't saying anything when Costco is less than half the price of either.  That won't change how I shop.

Sorry for the Megillah. Dan I decided to do the dirty work for you.

I am attempting to recreate a cart of everyday items from jet to Amazon right now and I cannot give a fair comparison because apparently you can't buy anything on Amazon in regular size for a normal price. Including detergents, baby wipes, paper towels, cereal and etc. this is a big reason why I have been able to move much of my shopping online, I can order normal amounts at regular to great prices.

Amazon
Tide 50oz is $14
Tide 170 oz is $21.49

On jet you can get 92oz tide for $9.99 and in my cart an additional savings of $2.44 off my cart.
It's cheaper than both even before any cart savings. And Costco apparently doesn't let me search for "tide".

Pampers are 28.74 (when waiving returns) and an additional savings of $4.43, becomes nearly the same price as Amazon, though you don't need to buy as many, don't need any subscriptions, and don't need Amazon mom which IINM is only for the main prime member.

My total order for:
144 pampers $28.74 ($4.43 off with SC)

Tide with downy 92oz $9.99-2.44 SC.

2x 18oz old spice body wash $6.58 (smart cart $4.92/2.48 each)

2x 210ct Kleenex $4.98 (SC $3.60/1.80) (way cheaper than Costco, and cheaper than Amazon where you also need to buy 8 )

2x 64ct baby wipes pampers natural (with plastic cover)
2x 64ct wipes pampers Baby fresh with cover

2x similac advance 2.13 lb (34 oz) $36.99 but smart cart savings about $5 each. On Amazon for $39.99 each. In stores not usually cheaper than $36.99 and no stores nearby that sell a big size.

2x 6ct Scott's paper towels naturals $5.36 each but $4.75 after SC. On Amazon I would need to buy 32 rolls and subscribe to pay $1.19 roll vs $.75 roll at jet.

Crispix 18oz $4.47 (not particularly cheap)
2x 12.25oz Cheerios for $6.78, or $2.63 after SC.

Total is $120.23 after saving $32.98 on jets regular prices.
The discount in my cart make my order 21.6% cheaper than jet regular prices, which are already usually cheap.

These items are similar to the items I would buy in shoprite but cheaper.
And on Amazon most of these items are available only in bulk, are more expensive, or both.

Costco in-store pricing is significantly cheaper than Costco.com.
Hence why we go to the actual store. Where detergent is probably half that price, etc.

Again, that's with bulk pricing, driving to the store and lugging all those heavy things into your cart.
My time is worth money, and so is the hassle, it's hard to find time to go shop in store, and it costs another membership.

Online was always supposed to make everyday shopping convenient and affordable but it hasn't yet done it for me until jet came around.

Thanks for the info... How do I add a code to my already existing membership? Not seeing any option anywhere...

The 1 year membership codes that Jet gives out aren't useless even if you already have a Jet account.
They add a free year on the existing membership.
I can't figure it out either. Where do you enter the code to extend membership?

Actually it was here before I moved it to deals.
And it was moved out of deals because it's been nothing but a thread full of bickering, invites, stickers, and handwritten notes.
You think it should go back to deals again?

ALOL You pay for Costco $59 (tax) a year and look what you are getting, a few bucks cheaper on detergent that you buy maybe 3 bottle a year...
Looking for parking at Costco is a headache for itself.
No one else can benefit from it unless I am willing to carry all these heavy stuff for him, they are crazy with matching membership... >:(

Your ALOLing a Costco membership?
I get an annual refund check from Costco that's more than the membership fee.

Referring to this?
To be fair I put this to a real test. They have a washer I am looking for.
LG Electronics Washing Machines 5.2 DOE cu. ft. High-Efficiency Front Load Washer with Steam in Graphite Steel, Energy Star Stainless Look WM8500HVA
Price is 1439.10 and Sears has it for 1439 flat. Also with Sears I get $50 SYWR and can double dip with gift cards. Am I missing something or does Sears blow them out of the water?

I don't think you can compare shopping at Costco in Cleveland to shopping at Costco in NY, but then again there is google express, so that may trump all because if you include free shipping from Costco conversation is probably over.

I think the future of eliminating grocery shopping is Amazon Now, Google Express etc.

No one wants to shlep to a store and carry things home, also no one wants to have to bundle items together and only buy things when you need multiple items. Both have problems. The answer is Costco and others with free shipping within 2 hours.

That was a stupid comment, where exactly do you have that? Not in my area neither in Lakewood
Let's not talk about the fact that this means another $100 a year, for what? to say that Costco ($59) is cheaper?
