I trust them...read what Channel advisor wrote about them. Already #4 marketplace for their sellers and quickly growing.

Yeah, you don't change your entire hyped business model from one day to the next. This can't be good.

This smells very bad to me. it makes no sense on so many levels with their supposed business model. Are they going to charge more and lose the price advantage? How are they going to make enough money to justify the investment?

1- seems like they will sell a free shipping pass for all orders, no minimum
2- they will probably not refund the referal fee as they used to, resulting in higher prices, though I imagine still competetive.

Jet has been a big experiment until now, it seems that people are very worried about paying for a second membership, more than they are about price.

But Lore told Recode that Jet didn’t need to have prices 10% to 15% lower than other online stores. In fact, customers were happy with 4% or 5% discounts, in a test conducted by the company. With today’s news, Jet will possibly start making money on selling items because the items are not as deeply discounted.
