Thanks I saw that. Not talking about the miles just across the Atlantic. I didn't get any miles from AUH-JNB-AUH either.

Update: priceline rep told me my flight is eligible for refund but that he needs to contact etihad refund department during business hours.
He promised to call me back tom to do that.

I should really start recording calls (link to appropriate thread?)

Were your flight changes significant? I might have to cancel my trip as well

Times are basically the same although on return they took out cdg leg...

So called again today (after agent never called me back - I know not surprising)
Second agent did pull up notes, claimed first agent already contacted Etihad and they refused to refund.
I had her contact Etihad again and got same thing. Said change was too minor

that's too bad. My flight changes were also very minor. Do you think you will keep trying? I know someone from a while back on the thread who posted he was able to get a refund.

How long did it take for a refund? I'm going on just about 20 calendar days.

I just cancelled via Orbitz and was told it can take up to 45 days for the refund to post.

The flights I was on from jfk-auh-jnb before Pesach had more than 50 Jewish passengers. I doubt there was a single one that wasn't on this glitch.

If anyone is flying AUH-USA. It is IMPERATIVE that you're checked it at the counter minimum 120 minutes before your flight. Because of USA preclearance, if u show up 119 minutes before your flight you'll be denied boarding. I didn't get an email about this, and consequently I'm stranded in auh all day. They'll hit you with massive fees as well

Do we know for certain that it won't? I flew in March but didn't credit the miles to anyone at the time, and never submitted a request for mileage credit. If I submit a mileage credit request with AA now for the flights, are we sure that I wouldn't get credit?
