hi,have a 21 hr stopover in auh, traveling with us and israeli passport, my visa to china (next destination) is on israeli passport. what do i do if asked by immigration how i plan on getting to china w/o a visa?
If the visa was on your US passport, you should be fine. They could always find out (if it's in your bags they can search you), but I doubt they'd care. I'd never lie to them but if it doesn't come up, so be it.According to Wikipedia, UAE doesn't admit Israeli passport holders, but would allow them to transit. This is likely not enforced especially if you don't literally show your Israeli passport. I'd suggest keeping your Israeli passport out of the equation and just getting the visa on your US passport.
ive heard of jews being asked if they have also an israeli passport, u suggest i say yes in such a case?
I don't think lying is a good idea, especially since you'll have your passport with you, presumably.
so if i dont plan on denying existence of my israeli passport might as well put the china visa on my israeli passport? its a 3rd of the price that way...
I was looking at the TR from @Dan that's in the Wiki. Were parts 3 & 4 ever completed?
Nope.
u can still do teshuvaכל זמן שהנר דולק עדיין אפשר לתקן
Any hotel recs? Will be in AUH for just 24 hours in October, would love to stay somewhere central. Is the Grand Hyatt a good option? Or the Andaz/ALoft for proximity to Elli's and the airport?
