Both tentative and COVID permitting.
2 Nights at Crowne Plaza Dead Sea. 22500/night, paid rate is ~600NIS/night (abt 185$ at current rate). 0.82cpp
2 Nights at Al Maha. 70k/night, paid rate is 1260$/night. 1.8cpp. Hoping that should we make it (in March) they'll have some kosher option available...

2 Nights at Ventana Big Sur - 30K Hyatt points/night cash rate was $1500/night
Very nice, stayed there a few weeks ago.

Do they provide kosher meals?

@shiframeir posted the menu from Chabad.
Any reviews on the kosher food?

5 nights at Hilton TLV during the most peak mid-end of August week.
Used 3 free night certs from Aspire (I upgraded during the free upgrade fiasco in December and for some unknown reason have received 3 certificates since then --- no complaints here, hopefully no clawbacks haha) + 2 nights on points @ 80K/night transferred in from MR at the 1:2.8 bonus rate.

Current cash price per night for the same dates about $610 including 17% Israeli VAT (I'm a citizen...).  So about 0.7625 cents per Hilton point, or 2.135 cents per MR.  Plus more guaranteed tangible/intangible added value as Diamond.

We did this last year (that time I booked all 5 on points during the Amex 1:3 transfer bonus for the 5th night free, total 320K points) and were upgraded to the highest category 2-room suite as Diamond, which compared to the cash rate boosted the value per point to smoking hot status.  Hoping this happens again!

I booked five nights for Sukkot for 320k at Hilton TLV

Did you request the suite upgrade in advance?
I have a few Diamonds friends who stayed there pre-Covid, and the best anyone ever got was a 'upgrade' to the executive floor.

CP Tel Aviv Beach yesterday.  30K IHG.
Cash price via IHG 1808 ILS ($560) incl. VAT.

As Spire, upgraded to Executive room and free full breakfast (for my two kids as well), also 4PM+ checkout offered.

This stay had a major issue that I can get into later...

Solid points value, what went wrong?

A few things bothered, some insignificant but one a major service lapse in my opinion.

The small/insignificant:

1) The room had an espresso machine, but no capsules were provided.  It would have been more appropriate to simply take the machine out of the room.

2) I was greeted as Platinum and had to show proof of being Spire. Not a brand new Spire.  Upon showing proof, they extended the free breakfast (or lounge, had it been open) and late checkout.  I believe this is evidence of a more significant back office service lapse, as we will see in my next point:

The Major:

3) Prior to arrival, I was upgraded to a suite (reflected in app).  Upon arrival, I was happily given the wonderful news that I had been "upgraded" to an Executive Room.  Upon showing the clerk that I should be receiving a suite, she played dumb and refused to even consider looking into it or calling over someone else.  I swallowed my pride and let it be, since it was only a one-night stay and in terms of general letter-of-the-law Spire benefits and this being Israel, I truly had already received above and beyond as it was.

Had this been more than one night, paid, or had they not offered the free breakfast, I would have fought it to the bitter end.

Wow, not cool. I'd have fought that for sure.
Definitely write into IHG.
