United Airlines Carry-Ons -- How strict?
« on: December 27, 2014, 06:54:12 PM »
Question: how strict is United these days on the carry-on dimensions, which are listed as 22" L x 14" W x 9" H.

Specifically interested in the length...if the bag is 22" but the wheels make it 24", will it fly (pun intended)?

There was some discussion of this question in the comment section of Main Site related to the recent Samsonite luggage sales on Amazon, but seeking more data points.

There is also another similar thread (Carry on dimensions- what are the real limits?), but this question topic is specifically asking about United. Thanks. :)

As always, try to get some version of priority boarding if you can :)
