How to use Qantas points

I have a lot of Qantas points (200,000), can anyone help me on how to spend those points?

they are best used on short flights. i personally used 14k on fight eze-igr and saved getting hit a close-in booking fee of 75$ on AA. in general qantas points are not worth much due to the high fuel surcharges for long haul flights.

Qantas is a shadow of BA, but they require a lot more miles per redemption (approx. 30% more).
However they do have quite a few good things doable.

Short distance flights in USA or even NYC to Montreal

Do you still have all of those Qantas points?  Apparently, you can transfer to another "family" member and Qantas does not verify who is related to whom.  I am looking for Qantas points to upgrade on an economy flight I already purchased.
