I went to one Barca game and I feel I can finally trash talk here.

If only Liv didn't totally suck in champions league :P
OK for starters if you went to a Barca game and you still want to trash talk the actual game you have no hope. Who were they playing?
Liverpool actually have a phenomenal champions league record, almost won last year aside for a couple of refereeing mistakes.

The only qualifications required to trash talk Liverpool are a mouth and a pulse.

What about Atlanta winning the MLS Cup in only their second year? Not to mention the largest crowd ever in the history of the league. Is soccer starting to take hold in the US?

They were playing Milan, game itself was great, crowd was less exciting than what I expected.

When the media is saying a city ends their drought from winning a soccer game, you know they are trying to sell soccer too hard.

Like saying the Lake Erie Monsters broke Clevelands Drought. It's laughable IMO.

If the stock market would depend on soccer in the US, is tell you to buy and and hold. Mark my words, 10 years, soccer will be the most watched sport in the US

It's just as laughable to discount steady major increases in fan turnout and interest because of hyperbolic media stories.

Done.

Someone set a reminder for 10 years from today. Cuz I ain't keeping track...

Or you could just pay me the $50 now, because there is no way yearly total views for MLS will pass the NBA, NFL, and MLB.

Nah, the only redeeming factor for him in this bet is that in 10 years $50 is worth pennies.
