Delta Silver Medallion- match to who?

Hey All,

This may have been discussed before- I just achieved the Silver Status with Delta.  Who can match this to for similar or better benefits? I am wondering if I can somehow achieve Gold (esp *A Gold) on anyother carriers?   I am going to London over thanksgiving and Israel for Sukkos (right now my London trip is booked on miles, but I can pay for it - its $500 and my sukkos trip is Jet Airways and Brussels Air but in discounted economy so probably not getting miles for it).

I have Delta Gold and I recently requested a status match from AA. I'll let you know how it goes.
BMI (which is *A) will status match if you have future flight with them and Delta competes for the route.
