I have a ticket with Alitalia miles JFK-LAX on Delta which I called in Alitalia to have it changed and they put in the new flights into the ressy and they said that there is no need to reissue just re-validate. Now on DL the ressy shows the new date but the ticket receipt still shows the old date. When I call DL they also say that the ticket still shows the old dates. When I call back Alitalia they say that on their end everything is fine. Am I good to go? Or I have to get Alitalia to reissue the ticket?

You're most probably not good to go.
I had the same scenario on a US ticket on CX, and I was not able to get a boarding pass.

Wow! Someone I know had the same, he called US to change his ticket for a different CX flight they revalidated it but apparently it did not go through on CXs side and they were not able to print his BP. Maybe are we talking about the same story?  ;)
