Funny how few of the point bloggers have kids.
I mean I get that a couple of the most popular ones play for the other team, but still...

Guess it has to do with the fear that kids will crimp their travel style.

makes sense. also explains why the one who blogs about points with kids is so popular, even though she only has one kid. but I agree, traveling with a bunch of kids totally crimps your style

Many are "younger" and still might.

OMAAT and TPG are pretty open about it. Probably are others as well. Last night AJK started the meal off by hitting on me, could be bloggers are getting a reputation

At any rate, still don't see kiddoes from the other big hitters though. Not all are that young.

I guess from our background it seems unfathomable, but perhaps it's not that rare in general?

well for someone who isnt extending the jewish family/tradition and got caught up in this game, may be hard to start having kids and realize you wont be able to do this as much

Yup, that's what I was wondering.
Is it normal in the general population for married folks to forgo having kids or is it a blogger thing?

Those guys aren't pushing an agenda, so why should they and how would it come up?

Ime, I have found that it is not unusual for people to delay or not have kids for these types of reasons

I'm not sure how old all the bloggers are but the general population definitely waits longer to have kids, even those that are married.

Pretty sure you can replace "blogging" with almost any "career" and come out with similar results.
Points/Travel blogging may be a bit more so, because it's directly hindered by having children.

My wife and I delayed having a kid this year because of traveling. We don't have the self control to stop flying around the world. Maybe next year our parental yearnings will outweigh our desire to fly....
