Recommend an ipad /tablet for work

I need an ipad or tablet for work for several reasons. To use as a laptop for doing work ie putting properties up for rent and managing time sheets (maybe a laptop is better).

Camera for taking pictures of properties inside and out I may need a wide angle lens.

Portability

Apple or Android? I have an android phone and have never used a mac but I'm ok with new technology

Price range is that of an ipad mini. I may buy it with or without service /WiFi hot-spot. Contract or no contract

For the work u described it sounds like you want a surface. The problem is, is that the rt edition is the only one in your prive range amd you dont want that one. Its only worth it if you get the expensive one (pro). Other wise look into Lenovo's convertible laptops, but still make sure its not windows 8rt (most cheap ones are)
